[IF ALEX IS WANDERING INTO THE FIRST AID STATION, soo-won is already here!! he turns when someone is approaching and offers up a smile even as he pauses going through the cabinets]

Oh - just the miss I was hoping to see. How're you feeling?

[ well he’s going to feel how she’s feeling before she gets a chance to open her mouth and say anything —- there’s a little sadness there, lingering like perfume, but there’s also a surprising amount of fear there as well.

not sharp and overpowering, more like a dread that starts in your stomach and creeps up. whatever’s causing it, it’s not showing on alex’s face. ]

Hello there. Did you need me for something?

[ hm? ] Oh, I’m... well. About as well as you can expect after the weekend.

[ . . . . hmmmm. soo-won blinks at that, a little bit surprised. that shows on his face as well as his emotions.]

.... I was hoping to look after your injuries, now that we have the means to do so. Would you care to have a seat?

... It would've been nice if this had opened up the week before but... at least it opened up at all. [ fun fact: she literally grumbled about this in a sunday tag somewhere else and then the mods went: haha becks you fool ]

Won, how's your memory of our first week here? Back before, um. Everything happened with Hajime, Virid and Pikachu.

It did - and I'm looking to stock up on supplies. Do you need fresh bandages?

... ah. It's not as sharp as I'd like it to be, in truth. Which is odd, given that normally I remember most things. Are you worried about that?

Yes, actually. It’s ... worrying me. Quite a bit.

Why we’re here, that we’re trying to go home at all... where or what that home is. Who we all are... all of it.

[ . . . . the understanding comes then, along with a feeling that - could be almost mistaken for sympathy, but sits something closer to camaraderie.

I have been. But I've started writing down things that happen here as well, so... I'm not sure I can just hand those over. [ woowoo should understand that right? even if she wanted to be an open book, a lot of what happens here is personal too.

also he's not allowed to a cheat sheet to teams she does or doesn't know 😠. ]

You could share it with Hansa, perhaps? If you feel more comfortable with him.

Writing it down is probably enough. [ if they're on paper, at least they're not lost... ]

I think he's already dealt with enough of me freaking out over this. It wouldn't be fair to pile more issues on him.

He'd probably say something like "Oh but you know, I am a priest after all. You can confess your sins to me any time."

But still, he's not here to get roped into being my therapist. Writing it down's probably the best option. I'll just have to keep them all safe afterwards.

Mm, I understand. Maybe you can borrow one of the chests from the pirate ship and use it for your own needs.

Then I suppose that's one strategy, to ensure that none but you could get to them.

I wish I could offer more advice on how to guard them carefully... but I'm afraid memory theft is still a new enemy I haven't been sure how to battle.

Considering I don't remember a lot of my old ones... they're probably safe. But...

I'll figure something out for these. But you'll understand if I don't tell you where I'm keeping them, right?

[and he waves a hand at that, laugh turning sheepish]

The offer didn't stem from a desire to invade into your privacy - only to help. But so long as you feel assured in what you can do, then I'm perfectly happy for you!

I know. But still, I should be the one keeping an eye on them. Seeing as I'm going to all the trouble of writing things down in the first place.

I hope that it proves fruitful for you - I've been writing a few things down since we arrived, but it's a little disconcerting to see words that I know should mean something to me but... effectively don't.

[to which he sounds a little sheepish]

Though I suppose it helps in letting me know exactly what it is I've lost each week.
