And sometime during their battle, time froze and then it said: "Not yet. But remember, this is your last chance."
He considered it odd enough to mention to me - to which I posited the idea of time looping, perhaps, and a cycle of memories being regained and forgotten.

If this is some kind of bizarre timeloop nonsense, I'm sick and tired of it already. Then again, if we've all lived through this time and time again...then it could maybe explain some things.
