And...oh. That's bad. [THAT'S REAL BAD, SCOOB. Hansa grits his teeth for the moment. So they're not the only ones fighting for memories. The Leaders...] This was all against us from the start. The Leaders are playing too. No wonder one would push people to murder for them!
[there's a bit of a shrug at that - maybe their competition really was a bit of a friendly jest? but it's certainly out of control now]
... the fact of the matter is, people may continue to kill - but I don't believe that it may be entirely for malicious and selfish reasons. I don't intend on acting further, but consider this -
If we don't have information about nova and the Realm, how can we be expected to succeed? If murder is the only thing that generates knowledge...
[ . . . he gestures]
A corrupted system, but one that even a well-intentioned Leader may have to work within.
However I have a request - when you speak to your Leaders this week, ask them about those who are 'removed' once more. Then I would like to know what they say to you and if we all receive the same answers. The information that Goat learned this weekend is related to them, but I won't tell you what it is just yet, to see how the system works.
But it seems that the greater opponent that Virid alluded to might truly exist.
[His irritation seems to recede, though he's glaring at some far off place instead of the other two, his expression annoyed, but thoughtful.]
Okay. I'll ask. [He turns back to the other two.] So there really is someone working against us. Someone among their number who's pushing things to their own agenda? How quaint. [He huffs.] I'll be glad to bring them down when we sniff them out.
[He sits in silence while the two of them talk, looking thoughtful and maybe somewhat concerned.
Slowly, he glances up between the two of them.]
I've been considering more about that. It would maybe make it easier if it was only one, don't you think? One leader and their team. But this place plays with memories.
So what if it isn't only one specific leader? What if it's all of them, at one time or another? What if they forget?
[ . . . blanca does have a point there. soo-won seems to think about that for a moment - before nodding.]
Oddly enough... not impossible. Did Sora tell you what he was told during his section of your adventure? He brought it to my attention - which suggested there might be a greater cycle of forgetting and remembering than anticipated.
The monster he'd fought said: "Do you believe you can change destiny? Time has already been written. There's nothing you can do, is there? Except try, try again. But you'll never make it."
And sometime during their battle, time froze and then it said: "Not yet. But remember, this is your last chance."
He considered it odd enough to mention to me - to which I posited the idea of time looping, perhaps, and a cycle of memories being regained and forgotten.
[He's heard those words, that Soo-won recites. Not out of Sora, but...]
If this is some kind of bizarre timeloop nonsense, I'm sick and tired of it already. Then again, if we've all lived through this time and time again...then it could maybe explain some things. Like this nova business. Maybe the Realm just shoves memories back into us when all is said and done, but it keeps falling out, like a sieve.
[And about the Leaders...]
So, we might be dealing with them all being potential enemies, huh? I mean, I couldn't see Rabbit doing much without fainting, but sure, you never know.

Frowning, he again looks at Soo-won.]
I had assumed their pay-out was something fairly large. Why else have a competition at all if they only needed assistance in regulating the Realm.
I would say what I think we should be asking them in that case, but... [He looks around them.] Saying it means they could prepare.

That, of course, is still wholly uncertain.
