Indeed - but I wasn't the one who encountered the alien. It was separately, by some footprints made by a spacesuit.
[so there's that!
also stop even if it was jeanne it's unclear if soo-won would vote for her]
Mm, that's worth looking into then. I'd heard a purple and blonde hair were found in the kitchen - so they might be connected? Likely to whoever harmed Sharon...
Footprints... If they were made be a spacesuit, would they be inconclusive?
[ is this the only reason the mods allowed footprints
don't stop compartmentalizing now, soo-won. ]
If we can see if the two strands match tomorrow, we'll at least be able to form some sort of timeline. The inn and the Emporium are across from each other.
Perhaps - we can look at what other spacesuits were used. It sounds as though Cater herself was found near them.
[which like
gives? some? idea??? maybe???]
That's true. I'd like to begin with two sets of reports tomorrow - the first being of where everyone was when they fell asleep, and then another set of everyone who explored and found something.
It is. [he tilts his head] So perhaps it is the work of this place... though we shouldn't discard the theory they were caused by someone entirely just yet.
[it is a lot, and his expression darkens at it - given that everyone was gathered there bc they were worried about him or some other similar reason..... he can't help but feel a bit responsible
he sighs]
Though... it remains that two bodies were found. Cater and Sharon. [a beat] Did you speak to Virid last week? Have you heard anything about possible motivation?
Then allow me to share what's been brought to me -
There is a suspicion that Virid was told to eliminate Hajime, and based on the information brought to him, he didn't see a reason to oppose. It suggested a larger opponent in play, rather than simply each other. And so it seems that there are rumors that a Leader may have directed Virid to kill.
I believe there is something larger. And so.... two questions we will need to discern tomorrow - did a person who was directed to kill murder one or both of the women because of that directive? Or if it was only one, which one?
All loss of life is worth mourning - however in a situation such as this, I am less surprised that someone might have something so important to them that they'd be willing to kill over it. I find it more pressing to find the individual who killed under direction, if it will lead us to a greater enemy.
[he brings this up to Jeanne because he would hope that she understands - the need to prioritize, given that their record for being on the right track isn't that great]

[he's chilling out since he's still recovering from thursday too??]

just kidding. wish jeanne weren't so nice and reasonable sometimes. ]
I am not a doctor and so cannot judge if this is accurate or not. Should I confirm with Archer?
no subject
[HE JUST DOESN'T WANT TO MAKE JEANNE WORRIED ABOUT HIM
anyway,]
Now if you'd care to exchange information, I can tell you that on the moon we were able to locate Sharon's body as well as an alien holding a knife.
[y
yea]

anyway ]
Were there always aliens there...?
[ outside of the spirens
She sounds more curious than alarmed. ]
The Emporium was found in a state. The merchandise w asknocked down, and a bloody t-shirt was found among it all along with a blond strand of hair.
no subject
[from what he remembers - though at the mention of blonde hair he tilts his head and then glances to his own ponytail, and then jeanne's.
hm.]
A bloody t-shirt as well...? Do you think a fight happened there?
no subject
[ Hm.
She nods at that glance. There are a few people with blond hair. Vote for Jeanne tomorrow, please and thank you. ]
I do think there was a fight, or at least some sort of chase in there to cause that mess.
no subject
[so there's that!

Apparently, there was a fight in the shuttles, too, but if they were both found in the space area....
[ It's not the cleanest separation. ]
That would be a good jumping point.
[ A beat. ]
Although we may want to ask if anyone experienced something odd upon waking, as well. Outside of the wounds some of you seem to have received.
no subject
... the girls in the garden were acting a bit oddly.
[he's just
going to say it]
no subject
I'm not quite sure what it could mean, but if there were others who were behaving oddly... I now find most foods unappetizing.
[ It's a little upsetting? ]
no subject
he blinks at that]
You do? Where did you stay? And are other feelings similarly?
no subject
[ Is a little..... sad. ]
no subject
[hm]
I wonder then if that affects anything... Did we receive injuries only based on where we were staying...?
no subject
[ Then, another theory is necessary. ]

We can check tomorrow, but they all seemed to be roughly the same. They're a bit...
[he
indicates
a spiral?
yea]

I won't, but for someone to go around doing that to everyone in the plaza....
[ It takes a certain kind of mindset. She's not disregarding the possibility. It's just
a lot. ]

Jeanne doesn't know that as a certainty, so there's a flash of concern at his sigh before her expression clouds over a little. ]
I did, but all he would tell me was how I didn't know him and so nothing mattered.
[ It was very edgy preteen and a little existential. ]
I don't know if there's something more at play, or if if was because he lost the right memory to give him the motive to murder.
[ Considering what he revealed at execution. ]

I suppose if we are able to discern who that individual it is, it's best to vote away from them.
[ If they want more answers. ]

On the contrary - I'm uncertain if they'd be willing to cooperate with us if they didn't have the fear of death looming overhead.
[there's not much incentive to share if you know you're gonna live]
