I'm not sure what I would've done if you'd said yes. Probably the whole 'confess thy sins' thing. It's easy to fall back on old habits like that when you're mad.

Ahh, I sure did. I think I'm making friends with them pretty well if they keep giving me gifts, yeah?

I'm going to push the bounds this week and see if I can request stuff too. I've got medicines to make, and no ingredients to use.

Oh, that'd be good. I received a book on medicine yesterday, so I hope that you can receive what you need. What are you looking to make?

I was gonna make some painkillers, since it looks like magical healing is going to be saved for life-or-death situations.

soo-won's actually going to go find shiro after... all of that. he's bringing a tray of tea though, and it seems like there are a few empty cups stacked on it like he's making his rounds

I wasn't sure what beverage you'd prefer after all that.

Let's say they're on the first floor of the inn for this, so they can have a table and chairs.]

[He lifts his hand up to his mouth, like he's about to grab a cigarette out of it. But then he pauses, lets out an irritated huff, and drops his hand back down.]

Week 3, Tuesday

[Shiro is in a bit of a mood on Tuesday. He seems distracted, and he's a bit jumpier than usual. He's been putting on a smile to act like everything is alright, but the constant act is making him tired.

By the time he and Soo-won cross paths, Shiro does look a bit warn down. And all he can manage is a tired smile.]

Hey. Find anything interesting in those books of yours?

[recrowns]

I can walk through you the process of swords craftsmanship, offer a refresher lesson on arithmetic, and explain how to make all types of noodles from scratch?

[soo-won.

but he'll frown a bit at the state of his friend]

You seem tired, my friend. I can't taste anything this week, but sit with me for a cup of tea anyway?

[He's tempted to say no, but being off-putting won't help anything. So he sighs, rubs at the back of his neck, and nods.]

Sure, thanks. Those leaf-beds are shit and I'm gonna be sore all week.

[he looks a little worried but will regardless guide shiro over to the kitchen]

anyway sometime after BOTH CYOA GROUPS ARE BACK, soo-won will probably be somewhere in the kitchen! when he notices shiro wandering in, he offers a smile.]

Hello. It's been a bit chaotic today, hasn't it?

One more physical and the other more emotional but.... yes, I'm afraid so.

Intending on staying up for a while, Shiro? Though I believe curfew should be coming soon.... None of the blends I've tried have let me stay up - so you'll have to tell me if coffee is the answer after all.

I'm certainly going to try! Even if I'm locked in a building or something, the first step to stopping the murders is finding a way to stay awake.
