She taught me what ice cream was. It was sweet, and fun, and she was quite kind.
[that was nice. he takes a moment to contemplate the possibilities.]
When we awoke, the notice stated that there was a huge disturbance in the nova - we don't know yet if that's positive or negative. Similarly, the Leaders said a few days ago that they anticipated something happening that would hopefully give us more answers.
There's a chance that the death of others adjusts the nova - and it might be what we need to do in order to collect more. However it then becomes the question of whether that outweighs against the number of people we need to collect nova through other tasks.
But then it becomes - who killed her, and how were they motivated to do it?
She was very kind. She gave me a fox plushie and named it Froufrou. She seemed like a kind, fun-loving young lady.
[He nods, Now that Soo-Won mentions it, he remembers that. A disturbance in the nova...how ominous.]
Maybe we each have our own nova, and...killing others makes less available. Remember, we're in teams. The team who wins gets some kind of wish. So, if you wanted to guarantee your chances...you'd simply get rid of the others, and leave all the nova to yourself.
If this is a matter of being in a rush to get a singular wish, when you otherwise are willing to believe that the entire fate of the extended universe relies on gathering nova - it makes you question a person's decision-making abilities.
[he
sounds unimpressed]
Furthermore, what point is a wish if you can't fix the universe? It'll all collapse anyway.
No one said that whoever did this was thinking of the wellbeing of everyone else. Unfortunately, people can be selfish. And hey, if their team wins, and they get to keep the universe running, they get their wish too to boot. It's a win-win. And all it involves is ruining other people's lives.
[There's a scowl on his face, like this talk is touching on something a little more personal.]
Anyways...it wouldn't surprise be if that was the case, unfortunately.
[ . . . . affection week. soo-won doesn't seem to mind the lean - but instead looks gently amused even as he gives hansa's shoulder a squeeze]
Mm.... it seems like everything's gone off on their separate paths, so most of our work will be done tomorrow.
Though I'm sure we'll have a few children present, so even if we find the person who killed her, we'll have to be careful about how we handle the situation.

it's not, but.
he reaches out to place a hand on the other man's shoulder, aiming for comforting, thanks to this week's affection curse.]
Then we stop them.
Their will can't overrule others - it's not going to be enough to make it up to Hajime, but we must start somewhere.

[He glances down at the man's hand...and finds himself leaning his head against it. Affection week....]
We will stop them. [JUST IGNORE HIM LEANING AGAINST YOU, SOO-WON, THIS ISN'T AWKWARD AT ALL] And help protect the others.

[can't midtrial and traumatize the kids.... :( ]

Incapacitating them shouldn't be too hard. We're not looking to cause more murders to happen. And if it's just one, there's a lot of us.

[he doesn't think it's a great idea]
... well, we can get to the logistics once we find them. Maybe the Leaders can create a holding cell, should it come to that.
