Well...its more amusing in how incredibly ridiculous it all seems. Memories...other universes...meant to be a part of some competition to get some kind of wish...its just a lot to take at once, I don't know about you.

... mm. I'm in agreement. Magic isn't woven into my world the same way that it is for others. However considering the multiple universes and worlds was the only way that I could fathom what was happening. My time is very different, and many people were using terms freely as if they were commonplace - but I did not think they could all be acting.

I cannot refute the possibility that my memories will be taken from me - until it happens.
It could be that the guides are mere actors, and they are lying to us. However if we do not believe them, the threat of our homes is a heavy one.

I don't know. I'm a bit more in doubt. If the threat to our world is that great, why haven't we heard of it before? Even if it was secret, why us? I'm only a simple priest. There are powerful and smarter people out there. The fact that we were selected for such an all-powerful role seems a little...too much.

From what I understand, they don't know why we were selected. While I think that I have my good points, I'm also out of touch with the technology here enough that I wonder if they should've brought someone who's familiar with coffee.
