...Huh?

[Whoah BIRD INCOMING - Hansa twists to the side, surprised, and then relaxes when its clear that its not going to attack him. A hawk? Here? And...ah.]

[That explains it. He offers a wave to the other man.]

You have to keep an eye on that bird! Haha, he could take someone's eye out.

If you want. I don't control you.

[He's just going to walk up - he wants to see the bird!! The birb!!!]

Where was he? In your lodgings?

Something waiting in my room?

[That actually makes him pause.]

Actually, no. Nothing was waiting for me at all. Oh, well. [He seems very unconcerned about this?] How long have you had him? Your hawk.

You say that like I should've had something waiting...

[Gulfan is a very, very pretty bird for sure.]

A family pet...does he know any tricks?

A spunky young girl named Cater. She thinks I'm a weirdo, haha.

[Aw, so no shaking hands? LAME.]

I see, I see. So he catches little mice and rabbits and stuff for his masters, then.

"Off-beat?" Haha, I'll take that completely as a compliment.

[He laughs a little at that.]

Hm, perhaps he can. It's sad he can't tell us what he sees...hey, maybe he can fly to that castle in the horizon that we can't reach.

I'm not sure. I didn't ask her.

[Oh?]

What happened? Did he hit a barrier, too?

It's a clear invasion of privacy and you should apologize immediately.

[A long pause.]

No, no, its fine. Read away. [He lets out a short huff, glancing upward at Gulfan.] Soo-won, right?
robopriest: (Default)

[personal profile] robopriest 2020-09-27 11:09 pm (UTC)(link)
Won, then.

[His hands are in his pockets, so he just gives a little shrug with his shoulders, his smile moving up to the side.]

A priest is meant to ease the minds of all the people he meets with....or something like that. I just try to see the amusing side of things as best I can, you know?
robopriest: (flat white)

[personal profile] robopriest 2020-09-27 11:13 pm (UTC)(link)
Haha.

[A short laugh, but its not like a laugh one gives after a good joke. It sounds a little tired.]

Well...its more amusing in how incredibly ridiculous it all seems. Memories...other universes...meant to be a part of some competition to get some kind of wish...its just a lot to take at once, I don't know about you.

I don't know. I'm a bit more in doubt. If the threat to our world is that great, why haven't we heard of it before? Even if it was secret, why us? I'm only a simple priest. There are powerful and smarter people out there. The fact that we were selected for such an all-powerful role seems a little...too much.

[They have kids here, for crying out loud. Not that kids couldn't be powerful or have important roles, but...]

Ha, well, maybe they wanted someone with fresh eyes to offer a new perspective.

[He has a point, though. It's like a Grail War - Masters weren't chosen based on power or importance, themselves. Even a comatose girl could be a Master of a powerful Servant, apparently.]

True. But for this job, you'd think they'd be more specific choosing people that could maybe be aware of how to go about this. This just seems like picking eggs out of a basket at random. Not really the best way to solve a universe-destroying crisis.
