I wasn't let into the kitchen very much before this, but it's rather fun. I borrowed some paper and pen from the front desk, so perhaps you could write down favorite recipes too.

You're not let into the kitchen? That's foreboding. [ she says, eyebrows lifting. ] Anyway, fat chance, I'm not writing my recipes down for anybody to mess up. If I forget them, they're lost to time and that's that.

Oh... Hm, we'll just have to recreate them if you forget them then. What the mind conjures once, surely it can conjure again.

You can't be any worse than the trash goblin I met the other day.

I think he said his name was Leo or something. [ squint. ] He was waist deep in the trash can. I nearly had a stroke.

in fact, once it comes to collecting items for tea, he'll go about doing it one-handed instead of letting go]

He also didn't know what a potato was - actually? I - did I hallucinate a trash ghost who doesn't know what basic vegetables are? That - huh.

I do not know Leo but I wish him some sense and clean clothes, soon.

but he'll go and put a kettle to boil so that they can have tea... he's figured out a lot of the kitchen from watching lup cook, probably]

[ she's done a lot of cooking over the past two days! so probably. she eventually lets go of him to wander into the pantry, and comes back out with a box of off-brand cookies - they're called between cremes. ]

Did you know these things are only 140 calories for two cookies? That's insane. That doesn't seem right - oh, it's like 13 grams of sugar. Got it.

You'll have to tell me what that means later.

[he has no idea what he just said! but he's taking it pretty well as he goes to actually pick out a selection of tea - something calming that will hopefully manage to settle her a bit more - and will pour the hot water into the cups]

You and Taako are identical twins, yes? That already sounds quite special. Do you have a first memory of him?

[ that was like one of the most normal thing she's said all game i'm crying ]

Yeah, we are. [ she says, a little softer. she munches on a cookie as she thinks, and then: ] When we were kids, it was just the two of us.

We stopped once for the night and got a fire going, and it started raining. [ she pauses, looking down at the cookies. ] Uh - that's a bummer, actually, never mind.

[soo-won will move to put the cups of tea on the table, one in front of her and one in front of him. though even as he takes some of his tea, he'll leave his hand out on the table, palm up in case she wants to take his hand again]

I won't force you into sharing, especially since it gets into Taako's privacy too, but you did say that you wanted to remember everything, you know.

I honestly don't know how to condense how much we've been through into something easy to remember. [ she admits, collapsing down at the table. ]

We're old. There's history. A lot of it.

[he smiles gently]

I have a rather good memory, if you'd like to try me.

Or if it's simpler, you could boil down to what you find most important - what stands out to you most when you think, 'our relationship would not be the same if I forgot this moment'.

[ she's quiet for a while, holding her mug of tea. ]

When we were seven, our aunt woke us up early. Before the sunrise early. [ she says, finally. ] She took us to the local farmer's market? It ran every Sunday at five in the morning and went 'til noon.

We bought a bunch of fresh ingredients. And when we got back to her house, we made cinnamon rolls. There was flour everywhere, I'm pretty sure there was cinnamon in my hair, but. It was the first time we cooked something together.

Fufu, it's oddly easy to picture.

Were the cinnamon rolls good once you got to try them?

[ they were cute demon children absolutely. ]

Best cinnamon rolls I've ever had. [ she says, with a little grin. ] Except for the eggshell in one of mine, but cut me some slack, I was seven.

I'm certain that you were amidst the best of your age group even then, eggshells at all.

[soo-won still knew nothing about cooking at seven, and still knows nothing now so,,]

Was it always the two of you and your aunt?

[evocationary]

There you go with your flattery as usual. [ she says, absolutely not stopping him in the least. ]

Nah. I mean - it was... we got passed around a lot. Our aunt was with us for a while but not for long. We kind of ditched that when we were twelve and went out on our own.

[recrowns]

[he just smiles.

he doesn't mean it as flattery, but it's alright if she thinks so. though he continues listening and tilts his head]

Where did you go after that?

[evocationary]

Everywhere. [ she says, with a little smile. she rests her chin in her palm, staring down into her tea. ] We traveled with performing troupes. Made a living off that.

Oohh, what did you perform?

[does he get to see it in the future!!]

[ she laughs. ]

Uhhh, juggling? And magic. A couple of the troupes doubled as mercenaries so there was a decent amount of times we went around clearing out caves of kobolds and stuff, too.

It does sound like an eventful life - I see why you'd have difficulty in narrowing down stories to tell.
