Uhhh, juggling? And magic. A couple of the troupes doubled as mercenaries so there was a decent amount of times we went around clearing out caves of kobolds and stuff, too.

Hm... My father, Yu-hon - he was a military man. He was gallant, courageous, strong, and intelligent. Even after he was wronged in the line of succession for nobility, despite being the eldest, despite the cries of the people saying that he was more fitting to lead - he only said "Status is of no matter to me. I'll continue to fight on the front lines - to protect my brother, and my people."
I thought he was so cool. [his smile is sincere, warm and adoring] I thought that my father was the greatest person in the universe, to renounce the importance of rank and care only for people.
For a time, I thought I'd even be a soldier - and I would lay down my life to fight alongside him, and give up my life for him. He was killed in action... but I try to serve the country in what ways I can, to uphold his memory.
[ she listens happily enough, munching on her own cookie. ]
Real heroic sort of dude, it sounds like. You uh, you don't seem like the soldier kind of guy, though. No offense. [ a beat. ] Sorry to hear he's gone.

... I think that's the nature of people - to seek things out for themselves, for their comfort. More so if you can do magic... the demands for your ability and what you can give must be high.
