As much as I’d love something stronger, I’ll take the tea, thank you Won.

[ she will accept a cup! ]

[ pulls out a hipflash and dumps like a week's worth of rum in the te--no. the move to prove the tea isn't poisoned is sweet though, and alex takes her cup to hold it a little closer to her. ]

Tired? I suppose.

It's a little draining when you get the right person, but it still feels wrong. And then there's the fact there's still someone we missed.

... It feels like less of a victory when I think of all the other ways we could try and generate nova, but... voting seems like it might be one of the best ways to go about it.

[ which... sucks? ]

We cut it close. And we still have... at least two people walking around who've killed and got away with it, possibly.

I think that's a good enough reason, don't you? Punishing them retroactively isn't going to get us anywhere, but finding out why they killed would be a big piece of what we're missing.

Less "potentials" and more "solid facts".

... But that's understandable too. Even knowing a little more context, and that there's a reason why these kills are happening [ even if she doesn't know why or how or anything other than "nova splintering" ] I can see why people would rather vote someone who has taken an action, rather than someone innocent.

Twisted, yes. But understandable. I don't blame them for staying quiet.
