Fufu, I just enjoy seeing you happy. I do like places like this though... It makes me a little nostalgic - some of the people I'd meet in the streets of the city used to offer me alcohol when I was barely even 9. It's a little funny.
[and there's perhaps an odd moment? where his feelings reflect that he's a little surprised at himself and the way that the words continue to flow]
The streets were different from where the homes of those with noble blood were. It's easy for a child to be raised with a rather limited set of experiences.
I would sneak out instead though - and I was lucky that neither my mother nor father seemed to be too worried about me.
[instead general joo-doh's blood pressure suffered]
[ ... She didn't think one glass of alcohol would loosen his tongue that much. Strange, and honestly she's just as surprised as he is. ]
... Ah. I've certainly encountered nobles before and it's true that they don't seem to mingle all that often with commoners. But it seems like that did very little to stop you.
Fufu, I was a curious child who wanted to know more about the world around me - I was just lucky enough to be able to sneak past the guards who tried to keep it from me.
[ . . . though the odd feeling seems to note for a bit longer - before he sighs, resigned]
... I seem to be speaking a bit more freely today - it's been more than a few hours now, so I wonder what it is....
Perhaps you ought to ask someone about it? Because as much as I agree that hiding your injuries isn't wise, that isn't something I would use on another person against their will.
[ Honestly from the vague sense of irritation roiling off of her, she really would not. ]

I'm afraid it'll take more time for me to quite reach your level, Dorothy, but I'll aspire to do my best.

[ What if he dies of alcohol poisoning, could she be convicted for that-- ]

I might have to ask Wolf or Fox to help me bring you back to the inn though, given this week's rule against touch...
no subject
As much as I'd like your hands on me, the rule breaking... not so much.

Dorothy!

I-I only wish to help you return to the inn! It would be improper to suggest anything else...!

Worry not, I'll be fine. I'd be happy to take you up on your suggestion another time, however.
no subject
.... alright, then next time. Maybe we can take a few drinks along with us for next week so you don't have to go without.

[ said with relish as she works on tankard #2, albeit more slowly. ]

[ Dorothy says it with a laugh. ] What friendly people you must have known.

[and with that - there's a sense of fondness. goodness, he seems to love people]
Knowing them really helped expand my worldview.

[ Wow, he really does seem to love people. ]

[ Dorothy pauses, then shakes her head. ]
Do you feel all right, otherwise? I'm not about to take advantage of this if you'd rather keep your explanations to yourself.
no subject
At the very least, I haven't offered up anything that I mind you knowing.
But yes, I feel fine. I'm wondering if it's something that someone is making me endure after being cross with me for hiding my injury last week.

You think that you're being compelled to be more forthcoming by one of your friends?
