We should check people's clothing simultaneously during strip checks, for one. Pay attention to the hems - that's a major reason of why we failed to locate Virid today. We were under the impression that we were looking for something torn - but it should be expected that someone would slice off the edge of their clothes.
And now people will only have more time to consider how they would like to proceed, and the manner in which they would want to harm someone else.
We can be as thorough as we want and still miss a detail if we're unfamiliar with the garment in question. It would be prudent to remember the appearance and state of everyone's apparel, long before the day of the check.
