When the Leaders came to visit us the first time, they said that the Nova was attracted to people. We don't really know what that means, so is it possible something was wrong with the nova attracted to Hajime?

It's worth keeping in mind. I know we can't prove anything right now, but if the Leaders do find something and come talk to us tomorrow I want to be ready.

... it's nice to think so - but it's also important to consider that fear and worry might still plague someone's mind. Once you're revealed to have blood on your hands, it can be hard to win back trust from others - even if it wasn't intentional.

Yeah...I get that. But it's gonna be even harder to win back trust if you lie about it and pretend that nothing happened. Then it's like it's not even an accident at all and like you have something to hide.

Mm, you're right. But it's the fear of being discovered and the hope that you can keep a secret forever that intermingle. Even if we want to think of the best of people, sometimes they just won't reach our expectations... but that's part of living, too.

Sounds about right. She was teaching me to make pizza. But she was really nice. We have a couple of things in common.
...even then, it's only been about a week. People here are easy to talk to and a lot of them are nice, but there's still a lot we don't know about each other at all.
We do. Which means...we should focus on the things that we do know for a fact. Like where she was found. If we can start in one place, we can hopefully move in the right direction.
