Then I don't believe it was a power, because neither of those teams would have had reason to act against Shigeo. If it was a cause of splintering... I believe that that would not matter.
However given that there is a pattern of only one splintering case per week, and typically we do not presume that it has gotten worse for any reason, then I believe that Shigeo's symptoms were secondary like Claude's.
How in the world did it get so bad so quickly...? Even Miss Hikaru's case took a few days. Maybe because he was in the same location as Miss Yona that night?
